Well, for the record, i have the whole set of Ohto Tasche stashed
somewhere. but i still bought one more because well, uhm....nvm. any
reason is a wrong reason.
anyway ....
They used to
say the muji FP is made to look like Ohto Tasche, in fact, they are made
by Ohto. while i am too lazy to verify that, but it seems that their
parts are not swappable. can't change the cap, can't change the body.
not ever the nib and feed can exchange.
and, if you take a look, their nib and feeds are different. in this case, the muji nib and feed are much better.
Hi! I've been considering getting either a Muji FP or Ohto Tasche and have found that almost everyone says they're the same (the exception being this blog). You said here that the Muji nib and feed are much better, but in what way? Also, I was under the impression that both the nib and feed are glued in for these pens. After deconstructing them, were you able to put them back together?
ReplyDeletefirstly, the nib of the muji is much smoother, and the feed given that it has one drain better controls the ink flow. there was no skips or wet flow when i used it, but not for the tasche which is very much wetter
ReplyDelete. on a minor note the design on the muji nib is also much more elaborated, giving a clue that there is more work put into it. For both pens, the nib and feed are friction feed, so of course it can be put back.
